## Description

TransVIHMI is a research unit focused on translational research into HIV and infectious diseases. It brings together researchers, scientific and technical staff, doctoral candidates, and administrative colleagues, with institutional affiliations that include IRD, INSERM, and the University of Montpellier. The unit’s work spans three complementary areas: HIV, Ebola, and other viral infections; prevention and care for infectious diseases; and the relationship between local cultures and global health.
