# Traubeneiche“ - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `trauben-eiche.de` ## Description Trauben-Eiche is the research website of Dr. Tobias Modrow, a forestry professional whose work focuses on the natural regeneration of sessile oak (Quercus petraea). The site presents findings from his research into how forest management can guide oak regeneration and support its development in mixed woodland. Its topics include seedling growth, competition, light conditions, silvicultural interventions, browsing by wildlife and practical recommendations. The website also provides a publication record, bringing together articles for forestry practitioners and peer-reviewed research. These publications examine subjects such as oak seedling performance in canopy openings, regeneration after group selection harvesting, understorey light following partial harvests, and competition between oak, beech, hornbeam and bramble. Visitors can access selected papers and downloads where available. A biography outlines Modrow’s professional background, including his doctoral research at the University of Freiburg and his work with the Bavarian Forestry Administration since 2023. The site is intended to share research results and information with people interested in forest management and the regeneration of sessile oak. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Environmental Science _(under Science and Education)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idHN_Ed0Cy/w/2000/h/876/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793639877559) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Danube | #5996c7 | accent | | Fun Green | #006d26 | dark | | Sandy brown | #f0ad4e | light | ## Fonts - Open Sans — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
