## Description

Herzbeben is the wedding celebrant service of Katharina Filser, a freelance speaker based in the Allgäu region of Germany. She creates personal, emotional wedding ceremonies that reflect each couple’s love story and help make their day memorable. Inspired by her own wedding, held on a raft in 2020 and led by her father, Katharina wanted to help other couples express their stories through thoughtful, individual words.

Her service begins with a no-obligation introductory conversation to see whether she and the couple are a good fit. She then meets with them in depth to learn about their relationship, wishes and ceremony plans. Using these details, she writes a bespoke wedding speech and remains available by email or phone as the ceremony approaches. A final consultation takes place about one to two weeks beforehand. On the wedding day, Katharina arrives an hour early to prepare the venue and bring the required technical equipment, then leads the ceremony. Afterward, the couple receives a copy of their speech as a keepsake.
