## Description

The Travelling Stage is a Canadian arts education organization that brings dance, drama, and music learning to children and young people. For 25 years, it has worked with schools and community organizations to connect curriculum with creativity and help students build confidence, collaboration, and self-expression. Its programs serve elementary and secondary schools, childcare centres, Montessori schools, libraries, lunchtime clubs, Girl Guides, and other community groups.

Workshops are available in French and English for Grades K–12, with sessions designed for classrooms, gyms, libraries, and other available spaces. Offerings include one-time workshops, ongoing programs, online sessions, and experiences tailored for remote and Far North communities. The organization also provides enrichment for children from infancy through school age, as well as performing arts studio programs in Durham Region, including studios in Whitby and Bowmanville.

Led by professional teaching artists, The Travelling Stage develops curriculum-based activities that support classroom learning and encourage creativity, communication, focus, and empathy. Its programs reach communities across Canada through partnerships with school boards and national organizations.
