## Description

**Travel Mapping - Highways**

Travel Mapping is a collaborative initiative designed for travel enthusiasts who are passionate about tracking their highway journeys across various transportation modes. The platform allows users to submit detailed lists of highway segments they've traveled, which are subsequently incorporated into a comprehensive database, enriching the overall travel map for its members.

Currently, the site tracks an impressive array of highway data, encompassing 370 active systems with over 54,741 routes spanning 1,254,420 miles of clinchable highways. Additionally, there are 209 systems in preview status and 17 systems in development, continually expanding user engagement and travel opportunities. Enthusiasts can also look forward to a forthcoming railway travel tracking feature.

By participating, users gain access to personalized statistics and visual representations of their journeys, while the site maintains real-time updates on highway system statuses. Travel Mapping fosters a vibrant community where individuals can share experiences, stay informed on the latest developments, and connect with fellow travelers in the forum.
