## Description

TRAVIC, short for Transit Visualization Client, is a transit-data visualization service associated with the University of Freiburg. It displays the movement of public transport vehicles using information published by transit agencies and operators around the world. Most movements are visualized from static timetable data, with real-time information included wherever it is available. The interactive map covers a range of transport modes, including trams, subways, rail, buses, ferries, and other services. Users can browse available data feeds through an overview, select feed markers to zoom in, and explore vehicle movements on the map. TRAVIC is based on a project by Patrick Brosi. The service presents data supplied by external publishers, whose individual terms and licenses may apply; links to publisher websites or license information are provided through vehicle details. TRAVIC notes that it cannot guarantee the correctness or completeness of displayed data and reserves the right to modify or discontinue the service.
