# Trees and Shrubs Online - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `treesandshrubsonline.org` ## Description Trees and Shrubs Online is a modern reference platform dedicated to providing comprehensive information on temperate woody plants. With articles covering over 730 genera and 4,500 species, this project offers in-depth descriptions of various subspecies, forms, and cultivars. The team is continuously updating and enhancing the content, ensuring a reliable and up-to-date resource for horticulture enthusiasts and professionals alike. The site draws its material primarily from two respected sources: New Trees authored by John Grimshaw and Ross Bayton, and Trees and Shrubs Hardy in the British Isles by W J Bean. The International Dendrology Society, which supports this project, aims to promote knowledge about trees and shrubs, and is seeking sponsorship and contributions to further develop this valuable resource. Users can easily navigate through the articles by using the alphabetical genus index, the search function, or the advanced search options. Trees and Shrubs Online is a collaborative effort brought to you by Arkesis Ltd, with design contributions by Andreja Brulc. For any inquiries or to support the project, please contact the editors. ## Industries - 🗺 Reference Materials - 🗺 Dictionaries and Encyclopedias _(under Reference Materials)_ - 🪴 Home and Garden - 🪴 Gardening _(under Home and Garden)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG, SVG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id2RiD78lD/w/820/h/145/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1750231056762) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Killarney | #316b34 | accent | | Olive | #938200 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - Source Sans Pro — asset _(google)_ - Source Sans Pro — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
