## Description

Trees Forever is a nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to connecting people to the environment through the planting and care of trees, prairie, and other natural areas. Founded in 1989 and headquartered in Marion, Iowa, we have a deep passion for the environment and for creating a better future for our urban forests, rural lands, and communities. Our mission is to plant and care for trees and the environment by empowering people, building community, and promoting stewardship. Through our cutting-edge programs and innovative practices, we have assisted community leaders and landowners across Iowa and Illinois in thousands of planting projects. With the help of over 7000 dedicated volunteers each year, we have successfully planted over 3 million trees and shrubs throughout both states. Trees Forever is renowned for our commitment to transparency and accountability. We are listed in the Iowa Register of Accountability for nonprofit organizations and are annually evaluated and rated by Charity Navigator, the leading independent charity evaluator in the country. This ensures that we operate efficiently, effectively, and ethically, executing our mission in a fiscally responsible manner. Join us in Planting a Better Tomorrow™ and let's create something beautiful together. Get involved and make a difference in your community.
