## Description

Trek Medics International is an organization focused on improving access to emergency response through practical mobile technology. Guided by the belief that communication is essential during a crisis, it aims to help communities connect with a range of responders when and where they are needed. Its primary offering is Beacon, a cloud-based dispatch solution designed for emergency services and crisis response organizations. The platform helps agencies coordinate responses and streamline dispatch operations, with a focus on sending the right responder to the right location at the right time. Beacon serves organizations working across areas including EMS and prehospital care, disaster response, fire services, emergency obstetrics, mental health crises, domestic violence, and substance use. Trek Medics offers a free 90-day Beacon trial and provides information about how the system works, alongside resources for participating agencies. The organization also shares emergency response stories, a crisis response podcast, videos, annual reports, and a global database of emergency and ambulance services.
