## Description

Trenchcord is a desktop application for crypto traders who monitor Discord and Telegram communities for market calls and contract mentions. Available for macOS and Windows, with an iPhone beta through TestFlight, it brings channels, groups, bots, and direct messages together in customizable live rooms. Users can track key contributors, highlight messages, search feeds, and automatically detect Solana and EVM contracts, including EVM chain identification.

The platform offers tools for acting on trading signals, including one-click links to supported trading services, in-chat Solana buy buttons, and configurable auto-sniping with caller, keyword, and market-cap rules. Built-in feeds, split-screen layouts, pop-out windows, hotkeys, and sound and push alerts help users follow activity across multiple sources. Cloud alerts can deliver notifications while a computer is off.

Trenchcord emphasizes local operation: tokens, sessions, messages, and settings remain on the user’s device. Its source-available app has no online version or cloud database; the company’s server handles subscriptions and linked devices, with alert watchlists stored there only when users choose cloud alerts.
