Through its online resources, publications, research materials, and heritage locations, the society helps residents and visitors explore local stories, family histories, and historic places. Its collection includes genealogy resources such as family trees, census transcriptions, voters’ lists, directories, and records of early settlers. The society also documents the Peter Robinson settlers and their descendants, with historical articles, ship and journey information, and Galway driving tours. Local heritage topics range from pioneer cemeteries and sawmills to Icelandic Kinmount, the 1939 Royal Tour, and the region’s quilting traditions. Publications include Fenelon Falls – Then and Now, Galway – A Pictorial History, Kinmount Gazettes, and regular newsletters. The society operates locations for heritage and research activities, including the Kinmount Heritage Centre and Museum, and shares details about visiting hours and events. Through these services, it makes regional history accessible to the public. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Libraries and Museums _(under Science and Education)_ - 🧪 History _(under Science and Education)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/TrentLakesHistoricalSociety) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id5alh4VRB/w/987/h/987/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793843119207) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id5alh4VRB/w/2000/h/2000/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793843119667) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Goldenrod | #ffcb70 | accent | --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
