## Description

Triad Weyrs is a Dragonriders of Pern play-by-email club established in February 2000. Set in post-AIVAS, Tenth Pass Pern, the community invites members to create and play characters as dragonriders, holders, or crafters across three Weyrs, six Holds, and twelve Halls. Its setting imagines a Southern Continent shaped by the return of Thread after Pern’s long interval of relative forgetfulness, with technology comparable to Earth’s 1800s. The club follows traditional Pern canon, including the dragon colors gold, bronze, brown, blue, and green. Its locations offer varied stories and roles, from the historic Dragonsfall Weyr and tropical Dolphin Cove Weyr to crafting communities, farming lands, and settlements with their own challenges and opportunities. Members can explore personas, locations, events, and bonus locations, as well as participate in the club forum and earn marks for special items. Triad Weyrs also presents a Southern society where the return of Thread is changing opportunities for women as dragonriders and crafters. Prospective members can learn more through the site and join the community forum.
