Description

Trinity Hill is an iconic New Zealand winery located in the famous Gimblett Gravels District of Hawke's Bay. With a rich history spanning over 25 years, Trinity Hill has established itself as a leader in world-class winemaking. The winery was founded in 1993, and its founders recognized the immense potential of the Gimblett Gravels winegrowing district.

Today, Trinity Hill stands as one of the region's pioneers, crafting exceptional wines on the same barren plot that was planted with grapevines all those years ago. Staying true to their roots, Trinity Hill takes pride in producing food-friendly wines made from the classic Hawke's Bay varieties that have gained international recognition. These include Syrah, Chardonnay, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon.

In addition, Trinity Hill also produces wines from lesser-known varieties in Hawke's Bay, such as Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Sauvignon Blanc. They even experiment with unique varieties rarely planted in New Zealand, like Marsanne, Roussanne, Viognier, Tempranillo, Touriga Nacional, and Touriga Francesa. Under the guidance of Chief Winemaker Warren Gibson, Trinity Hill's winemaking and vineyard teams have consistently delivered exceptional vintages.

Gibson's expertise and experience have earned him prestigious accolades, including New Zealand Winemaker of the Year and Winemaker of the Year. Trinity Hill's wines showcase the distinct character and personality of the Gimblett Gravels sub-region, thanks to the unique stony soils deposited by a wandering river. The winery boasts three vineyards in this sub-region, and their flagship wine, Homage, has gained global recognition as a benchmark Syrah.

The impressive winery, designed by New Zealand architect Richard Priest, features a farm-structure inspired design. It also houses Trinity Hill's Cellar Door, where visitors can enjoy tastings and platters while admiring the stunning white barrel room and expansive lawn. The Cellar Door is open seven days a week, from 11 am to 5 pm.

To stay updated with the latest news and offers from Trinity Hill, customers can join the winery's mailing list. They can also connect with Trinity Hill on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram. Trinity Hill's commitment to excellence extends beyond winemaking, as they prioritize sustainability and environmentally-friendly practices.

As a customer, you can confidently support this brand, knowing that they strive to make a positive impact on the planet.
