Texas RioGrande Legal Aid (TRLA) is a renowned brand that has been providing free civil legal services to the residents of 68 Southwest Texas counties since its establishment in 1970. Originally created to represent Texas farmworkers, TRLA has emerged as the nation's second largest legal aid provider and the largest in Texas. Despite assisting approximately 23,000 clients annually, there is still a significant need for legal aid, as over 2.6 million residents in Southwest Texas lack access to civil legal representation. TRLA strives to bridge this gap by providing valuable legal services to those in need.
