## Description

Trogirska kužina is a cultural and culinary project dedicated to the food heritage of Trogir and the surrounding Dalmatian coast. Its name evokes Trogir’s stone streets, the scent of the kitchen, and a way of life shaped by the sea, local ingredients, family traditions, and shared meals. Rather than simply collecting recipes, the project explores the stories, people, seasonal rhythms, and practical knowledge behind them, presenting tradition as a living heritage that can continue in contemporary kitchens.

The site features written stories and recipes inspired by local life, including dishes made with fish and seasonal produce, alongside a gallery that offers a visual record of the project. Its approach combines respect for inherited cooking practices with modern techniques used to better understand and express them. Trogirska kužina also offers a book for order, bringing together stories of the city, its people, memories, and food. Based in Trogir, the project welcomes enquiries and potential collaborations that support the preservation and sharing of local gastronomic culture.
