## Description

Troost bij leven is a service in Bergen op Zoom that helps people shape their own farewell while they are still alive. It supports individuals facing the effects of ageing, dementia or an incurable illness, and works with them and their loved ones to create a meaningful celebration of life. The aim is to give family and friends the opportunity to express their love and appreciation directly, while the person can experience and share those heartfelt words.

Together with clients, Troost bij leven develops a personal gathering that honours the individual’s life and relationships. The celebration may bring together stories, treasured memories, meaningful images and music connected to the person and their loved ones. Designed to be an unforgettable and intimate occasion, it can include both laughter and tears, creating a shared moment of connection and a lasting personal memory.

Troost bij leven invites people who are considering a farewell celebration during life to discuss the possibilities. Enquiries can be made by phone or email.
