Tropical Herping is an initiative dedicated to the preservation of tropical biodiversity through tourism, photography, and education. Our mission is to ignite a passion for amphibians and reptiles, aiming to generate support and address the pressing conservation challenges faced by these remarkable creatures. Spearheaded by our core team members, including Lucas Bustamante, CEO and Director of Photography, Frank Pichardo, Director of Tourism, and Jose Vieira, Director of Field Research, we strive to make a genuine impact. Additionally, we have an esteemed group of honorary members, such as Alejandro Arteaga, Greg Basco, and Andrea and Antonella Ferrari, who contribute their expertise in research, photography, and conservation efforts. By cultivating fascination instead of fear, we hope to redefine attitudes and inspire the conservation of reptiles and amphibians. With our policy of health and safety, code of ethics, and COVID-19 action plan, we prioritize the well-being of both participants and our natural environment.
