## Description

Trout & Company is a mission-based brand combining fly fishing, art, education, and conservation. Founded by artist and fly fisher Laurie Lane, the company grew from her admiration for trout and a photo study begun in 1999. Its signature product, the Trout Mobile, is designed to engage children and adults with the beauty and science of freshwater fish. The mobiles feature rainbow, brown, and brook trout, with luminous finishes that enhance light and movement. Customers can also choose a kit to assemble, bringing science, technology, recreation, engineering, arts, and math together through the brand’s STEM2STREAM approach. Kits include trout identification information, and their packaging tube can be used to collect water samples and explore what trout eat. Trout & Company also sells handmade fish and butterfly ornaments, limited-edition trout prints, fly-fishing art, scarves, postcards, apparel, and themed collections. Its products are displayed in museums, libraries, schools, shops, and homes. The brand supports organizations focused on clean water and education about safe catch-and-release practices, reflecting its goal to enrich lives through conservation and fly fishing.
