## Description

The Trudy Ederle® Foundation is a charitable foundation based in Liechtenstein, inspired by the legacy of Olympic medalist and English Channel swimmer Trudy Ederle. It aims to turn expertise from elite sport into broader health and social benefit, with a focus on movement, prevention, dignity and inclusion. The foundation is developing its work and does not claim established nationwide programs or verified impact figures.

Its strategic framework, T-R-U-D-Y, addresses the transition beyond peak performance through controlled career change, recovery, respect for personal and data boundaries, documented evidence, and support for a next identity. Alongside this work, the foundation is developing programs and partnerships to make movement and prevention more accessible, particularly through schools, sports clubs, health organisations and community initiatives.

Its planned areas include swimming, resilience, mental health, mentoring, girls’ sports and coach training. The foundation also aims to support people and partners who build confidence, participation and sustainable movement habits.
