## Description

The Real Urban Emissions (TRUE) Initiative is a collaborative effort between the FIA Foundation and the International Council on Clean Transportation, focused on improving urban air quality and addressing vehicle emissions. Backed by a wide advisory group, including Transport and Environment, C40 Cities, and various universities, TRUE is dedicated to transparency and innovation in its approach to tackling air pollution.

The initiative aims to collect and publish real-world emissions data, raising awareness of excess vehicle emissions and supporting city efforts to inform consumers and shape effective policies. TRUE provides detailed vehicle ratings based on rigorous testing campaigns conducted across major cities in Europe and beyond, including Brussels, Warsaw, and London.

By engaging with cities such as Paris, Seoul, and Mexico City, TRUE equips urban areas with essential insights to combat emissions, contributing to the development of measures like low emissions zones and vehicle bans. Through its transparent methodology and open communication, TRUE empowers citizens and city officials to make informed decisions for cleaner air and a healthier urban environment.
