## Description

Trustolino is a platform connecting families in Mannheim, Heidelberg and the Rhine-Neckar region with people who have a verified educational or childcare background. Founded by educators and parents, it aims to make professional childcare more accessible while recognising the expertise of those who provide it. Rather than treating care as casual babysitting, Trustolino presents it as skilled educational work and supports both family trust and caregiver career development.

The platform manually reviews applicants’ qualifications, such as enrolment documents, training contracts or certificates. Approved, complete profiles can receive the Trusted Educator seal, with checks refreshed periodically. Educators can build a digital portfolio documenting their experience and competencies. Trustolino also offers administrative support, including invoicing and preparation of income-and-expense records, with optional payment processing through a certified provider. Providers work independently: they set their own prices and choose their assignments; Trustolino is a marketplace and service platform, not an employer. At the time described, the service was preparing to launch and inviting educators to join a free email waiting list.
