## Description

Archie, from Architect, is an AI shopping assistant designed to help people find products that suit their needs, compare options and shop with greater confidence. Available through ChatGPT, a browser and iMessage, Archie can research a product link or shopping request, check reviews, compare offers from other sellers and help identify trusted retailers. It also considers details such as product ingredients, materials, quality, fit and brand, then explains the trade-offs between options to support an informed choice.

The assistant learns users’ preferences over time, including their sizes, style, budgets, favourite brands, preferred materials, dietary needs and sellers they trust. This enables Archie to offer more relevant recommendations, remember useful shopping details and help users avoid unsuitable purchases. Its comparisons are intended to reduce time spent browsing, surface better prices and make product research easier. Archie is presented as a free AI shopping assistant, with access offered through a waitlist. Its examples span a range of goods, including clothing, homeware, food, fragrances and electronics.
