## Description

The Magyar Sclerosis Tuberosa Alapítvány, or Hungarian Tuberous Sclerosis Foundation, is a Hungarian nonprofit organization supporting people affected by tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) and their families. It works to share information about the condition and its effects, including neurological and neuropsychiatric issues and possible involvement of the kidneys, heart, lungs, eyes, brain, skin, mouth and teeth. The foundation provides educational resources, including an updated, illustrated guide covering current knowledge about TSC, development opportunities and available support. Its website also offers information for living with TSC, updates and links to partner organizations.

Alongside education, the foundation creates opportunities for families to connect and learn from one another. Its activities have included family days, informal gatherings, online parent-support discussions and facilitated training on self-awareness, coping strategies and assertive communication. These programs have involved relevant professionals, such as psychologists, therapists and special educators, and have offered parents guidance on family and child-related concerns. The foundation also shares news about its initiatives and takes part in rare-disease awareness events.
