## Description

Times Square Arts is the official public art program of the Times Square Alliance, presenting contemporary art in one of New York City’s most recognizable urban settings. It collaborates with artists to experiment with the district’s public plazas and iconic digital signage, creating experiences that engage visitors and audiences. Its programming spans visual art installations, live performances, exhibitions, and special events. Major projects include plaza-based works, while Midnight Moment coordinates creative content across Times Square’s screens in a large-scale synchronized presentation. The program also features artist projects and seasonal events, including New Year’s Eve activities and the Wishing Wall, where participants can submit wishes for confetti released at midnight. Events may highlight individual artists and creative communities through performances, pop-ups, and exhibitions. Through its project listings, event calendar, artist profiles, news updates, and email newsletter, Times Square Arts helps audiences discover public art and cultural programming throughout the district.
