## Description

Times Square Arts is the official public art program of the Times Square Alliance, bringing contemporary art and performance into one of New York City’s most recognizable urban spaces. The program collaborates with artists to experiment with the energy, architecture, and audiences of Times Square, presenting work on public plazas and throughout the district. Its offerings include temporary installations, live performances, exhibitions, and artist-led projects, alongside Midnight Moment, a coordinated presentation of creative content across Times Square’s digital signs. Major projects have featured artists such as Kinlaw, Julien Creuzet, LIZN’BOW, Maia Chao, Tania Bruguera, and Jen Catron and Paul Outlaw. The program also hosts events that connect visitors with artists and their work, including performances, pop-up programs, and community-focused celebrations. Through its website, audiences can explore current and past projects, discover participating artists, find event information, and follow program news. Times Square Arts invites residents and visitors to experience contemporary art in an open, public setting, transforming the district’s plazas and screens into platforms for creative expression and engagement.
