Vernon McGee in 1973, this ministry has grown over the past four decades to fulfill its vision. It all began when Dr. Paul Freed encouraged Dr. McGee to translate the daily radio program into Spanish. The response was overwhelming, leading to the addition of more languages. Driven by a commitment to bring the systematic teaching of God's Word to everyone, Thru the Bible continues to expand its outreach. Through new delivery systems like the Internet, mobile phones, MP3 players, and more, people all over the world can access the Thru the Bible program in their own language. The ministry also works in partnership with other on-the-ground ministries, reaching even more people hungry to learn God's Word.
