## Description

The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) is the national policing organisation serving citizens across Trinidad and Tobago. Its stated commitment is to protect public safety, security, and well-being through professional, accountable, and community-centred policing. Established in 1592, the service operates through nine divisions, 69 police stations, and a workforce of more than 6,400 officers. Its work includes responding to emergencies, investigating crime, providing public safety guidance, and supporting victims and witnesses.

The TTPS offers online access to a range of public services. Residents can report crimes, apply for a Certificate of Character, request permits for marches, meetings, road events, raffles, and donations, and seek replacement documents. The service also provides information on firearm applications, police station locations, emergency contacts, notices, and safety advice. Its official mobile app enables users to report incidents, track Certificate of Character applications, locate nearby stations, and receive community crime alerts. The website also shares news, media releases, recruitment information, and details about the Police Youth Club and Police Band.
