## Description

Turkey's National Geographic Information System (TUCBS) is a vital platform that facilitates the accessibility and management of geographic data within the country. It caters to a range of users, including public institutions, local governments, universities, the private sector, and individual citizens, by providing services for geographic data visualization, sharing matrices, and metadata management. The system emphasizes user-friendly access to geographic data through map-based interfaces, enabling efficient interaction with various datasets.

TUCBS features a Geographic Data Request Portal, where users can easily submit their geographic data needs while ensuring adherence to the Geographic Data Sharing Matrices, which outline the rules for data sharing among different user categories. Moreover, it provides comprehensive resources like a Geographic Data Dictionary that helps standardize understanding and sharing of geographic data, ensuring that stakeholders can fully leverage the information available. Managed by the Turkish Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, TUCBS plays an essential role in enhancing data governance and efficiency in resource utilization across Turkey.
