## Description

Ryhmäkoti TuposVilla Oy is a Finnish care provider offering homelike residential services and temporary care for adults with intellectual disabilities who need support and supervision around the clock. Established in 2003, the company is based in Tupos, in the municipality of Liminka, approximately 22 kilometres south of Oulu.

TuposVilla operates two group homes, Hulina and Vilinä, located just over a kilometre apart. Hulina is home to 11 permanent residents, while Vilinä accommodates nine and also has a room for temporary guests. This respite-care option helps make time off possible for family caregivers.

The homes form a residential community inspired by traditional rural culture. TuposVilla describes its atmosphere, setting and way of working as creating a supportive environment for a happy life. Their locations also allow residents to access ordinary municipal services and take part in varied leisure activities, excursions and trips. Through its residential care and short-term stays, TuposVilla provides both ongoing support for residents and temporary assistance for those who care for them.
