## Description

TurnCare is a brand on a mission to protect high-acuity patients. Founded by Dr. Rafael Squitieri and Kim Orumchian, TurnCare aims to transform critical care by developing innovative solutions for the most complex patients. The inspiration behind this brand came from Dr. Squitieri's personal experience with a young patient who suffered from complications due to a sacral pressure injury after successful open-heart surgery. Determined to address this common challenge, Dr. Squitieri teamed up with technology expert Kim Orumchian to create the Guardian System. This system focuses on preventing blood flow impairment, which is the true underlying cause of hospital-acquired pressure injuries. Since its inception, TurnCare has helped thousands of patients and improved patient management for bedside clinicians. Their mission is to protect unstable ventilated patients, and their team consists of experienced professionals in various roles. If you're interested in their products and services, you can request a demo or get in touch with their clinical support or research inquiries team.
