## Description

Turning Craftwise is a family-run craft, fabric and wool shop in Gisborne, New Zealand, serving makers across the East Coast. Rooted in the local community, the store welcomes people of all ages and experience levels to explore creative projects, learn new skills and share their crafting journeys.

Its range includes Bernina sewing machines, quality sewing supplies, quilting cottons, Kiwiana fabrics, New Zealand wools and other crafting materials. Customers can shop online or visit the store, and the team provides expert servicing and repairs for most sewing machines and overlockers, including cleaning, oiling, adjustments and software updates. Some mending and alteration services are also available.

Turning Craftwise offers sewing classes for beginners through to more advanced makers, free knitting sessions for beginner and intermediate knitters, and free crochet sessions. Classes and workshops are complemented by a monthly event calendar. With a focus on creating, reusing and recycling, the shop aims to be a welcoming hub where people can find supplies, practical help and inspiration for making things together.
