## Description

Turnkey Federal is a founder-led defense engineering and technology firm that helps companies bring technology to the Department of Defense (DoD) and supports government programs in developing mission-ready capabilities. Founded by Jessica Scott, whose experience includes 17 years inside DoD programs and current support to USSOCOM, the firm combines engineering expertise with knowledge of acquisition and government programs.

Its services span technology strategy, opportunity alignment, proposal support, systems engineering, acquisition support, engineering documentation, and technology development planning. Turnkey Federal works with primes and technology companies as a subcontractor or partner, and provides embedded subject matter expertise to government program offices. It also designs, builds, and evaluates prototypes through OTAs, SBIR/STTR, and other government contracting pathways.

The company takes a research-backed, iterative approach: grounding projects in science and operational needs, testing difficult elements early, and designing for openness and modularity. Its work aims to reduce technology risk and help promising solutions progress toward capabilities the government can own and carry forward.
