# Turtle Mountain Animal Rescue - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `turtlemountainanimalrescue.org` ## Description Turtle Mountain Animal Rescue (TMAR) is a volunteer-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2015 and based in Rolla, North Dakota. The organization rescues stray and at-risk animals and works to find them homes, while addressing animal overpopulation through lasting community solutions. Serving an area of about 2,000 square miles, TMAR reports rescuing 70 to 100 animals each month, including dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens. Its adoption services include local North Dakota dog adoptions, out-of-state dog adoptions, cat adoptions, and courtesy postings that help connect animals with potential adopters. The organization also shares rescue stories, information about available animals, and ways to help through its website. TMAR currently operates from a rented building rather than a dedicated shelter. It has purchased land with the aim of building an animal shelter and sanctuary, alongside a youth center. Planned community resources include low-cost spay and neuter services, vaccination clinics, animal care, and youth involvement programs. Donations support animal care and progress toward these plans. ## Industries - 🐶 Pets and Animals - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ - 🐶 Animals _(under Pets and Animals)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/TurtleMountainAnimalRescueNetwork) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/turtlemountainanimalrescue) - [youtube](https://youtube.com/channel/UCZcbJjM7AVyxr_WE-KplFXA) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idf9c9u1NV/w/2397/h/1839/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792847895521) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idf9c9u1NV/w/640/h/640/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792847895643) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Reno Sand | #a36a14 | accent | | Orient | #006a8b | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - Amatic SC — asset _(google)_ - Montserrat — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
