Description
TVBUSA, a subsidiary of TVB Group, is the largest distributor of Chinese-language television programs worldwide. With headquarters in Norwalk, California, TVBUSA was established in 1984 and started its Jade Channel cable service, expanding its coverage to the San Gabriel Valley and eventually to San Francisco. In 1994, the 24-hour Jade Channel Satellite Service was introduced, providing Chinese viewers all over the US with analogue signals.
In 2000, it went digital and multi-channel, broadcasting seven Chinese channels. TVBUSA also launched TVBV, the first 24/7 Vietnamese dubbed TVB drama channel, and TVBS and TVB8, serving the Mandarin-speaking population. Additionally, TVBUSA offers cable service in the New York area and is available on major US telco TV platforms.
Through various platforms, TVBUSA brings Chinese TV services to US viewers, connecting Chinese American households with their homelands. By utilizing cutting-edge technology, TVBUSA strives to deliver the latest programs and channels from China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, bridging the distances of time and space for Chinese American viewers
