## Description

TVPPA is a leading brand that represents the interests of consumer-owned electric utilities within the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) service area. As a nonprofit, regional service organization, they provide a range of services to municipal and electric cooperatives, serving over 9 million people in Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, Kentucky, North Carolina, and Virginia. With a rich history dating back to the mid-1930s, TVPPA has been instrumental in improving the quality of life for Tennessee Valley residents. They are committed to delivering the best energy services at the lowest possible cost while adhering to sound business practices. TVPPA's vision is to be the preferred and continuing source of services that enhance the competitive position of consumer-owned utilities in the region. They also aim to be at the forefront of shaping public policy related to the supply of electricity. As a voluntary service organization, TVPPA serves as both an effective advocate for its members and an independent provider of competitive business services. Their committee structure serves as the backbone of the association, facilitating effective communication between staff and members. TVPPA members span across a seven-state TVA service area, and they also have Associate and Affiliate Members across the nation.
