Its mission is to improve animals’ lives through practical support, community education, and advocacy for compassionate care. The organization’s primary focus is helping people access spay and neuter services for dogs and cats, including friendly and feral cats, to reduce the number of homeless and unwanted animals. It also offers owner assistance that can include vaccinations, microchips, pet food, housing support, and medical care, helping families keep pets at home and out of shelters. For animals in need of a safe haven, the society supports rescue, foster homes, and veterinary care. Additional resources include help with lost or found pets, rehoming, and reporting animal abuse. Twin County Humane Society also welcomes community participation through volunteering, membership, donations, events, and outreach. In 2025, it helped spay and neuter more than 1,500 animals, provided 2,500 vaccines and microchips, and rescued 660 dogs and cats. ## Industries - 🐶 Pets _(under Pets and Animals)_ - 🐶 Pets and Animals ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/twincountyhumanesociety) - [linkedin](https://linkedin.com/company/twin-county-humane-society) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idDyhRLdU9/w/378/h/126/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792453752374) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idDyhRLdU9/w/1094/h/1094/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792453752560) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Orient | #005a87 | accent | | Lima | #8eb812 | dark | | Prelude | #c8afdb | light | ## Fonts - Open Sans — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
