## Description

Healthier Texas is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to fostering healthier communities through active engagement and accessible health resources. The flagship initiative, the Community Challenge, is an engaging eight-week competition that runs from January 13 to March 9, 2025, allowing Texans of all fitness levels to compete and earn points by adopting healthy habits such as nutritious eating, regular physical activity, and proper hydration. Participation is entirely free, making it accessible to everyone in Texas.

Beyond the Community Challenge, Healthier Texas offers a variety of services including health coaching, virtual fitness, nutrition classes, and the annual Healthier Texas Summit, which brings public health leaders together to discuss community health strategies. Resources are provided in both English and Spanish, catering to a diverse audience. With a commitment to reducing preventable diseases and increasing health access, Healthier Texas aims to unite Texans in building a healthier future for generations to come. Join the movement and become a health champion today!
