The Tybee Island Marine Science Center offers an authentic coastal experience in Tybee Island, Georgia. Located at 37 Meddin Drive, the center provides visitors with the opportunity to connect with educators as they explore and build exhibits. Open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 9:30 a.m. Admission is $12 per person, with children aged 4 and under admitted for free. Additionally, the center offers programs for Girl Scouts, schools, and families that can be booked seven days a week. During sea turtle nesting season, volunteers from the Tybee Island Sea Turtle Project diligently monitor and protect the nests, and guests can witness the incredible sight of hatchlings making their way to the ocean. The center also offers Sea Camp programs for children ages 6 to 11. With two galleries now available, visitors can book their experience online and explore the wonders of marine life.
