## Description

Olsok i Tylldalen is a cultural organization and event programme centered on the annual Olsok celebration in Tylldalen, Norway. Its activities bring together local history, theatre and community events, with the 2021 programme scheduled from 28 July to 1 August. A central part of the organization’s work is the Tylldalen plays, a tradition dating back to 1976. The three plays together tell the story of life on a farm at Tylldalen heritage farm, connecting audiences with the area’s past and traditions. The organization also shares information about Tylldalen Bygdetun, the pilgrimage route, volunteering opportunities and event tickets. For people interested in the productions beyond the live performances, it offers a commemorative DVD featuring the anniversary performance of “Dei urolege av hjarte” and the documentary “Kjenn kor det angar.” Through performances, events and related materials, Olsok i Tylldalen provides ways for visitors and local residents to engage with the region’s heritage and cultural life.
