## Description

Tyneside Irish Cultural Society (TICS) is a brand that champions Irish music and cultural events in Tyneside and the North East of England. Founded by Tony Corcoran in 1994, TICS presents the very best of Irish culture to audiences throughout the year. They organize events such as St. Patrick's Day celebrations and an annual Irish Festival, now in its 37th year. TICS also undertakes heritage and welfare projects, along with hosting concerts, lectures, and educational programs. Their aim is to introduce and unite individuals with a passion for Irish arts and culture. As a not-for-profit organization, TICS provides a significant platform for authentic Irish events and continually promotes Irish creative talent in the region. The society is governed by a board of directors and supported by committed volunteers. If you're interested in joining their team or attending their events, get in touch with TICS to learn more.
