## Description

Tynkkysen Family Association is a Finnish family organization founded in 1995 to bring together members of the Tynkkynen family, strengthen family connections, and preserve shared traditions. People from all branches of the family are welcome to take part. The association organizes a family gathering every three years, along with other events and meetings where relatives can reconnect, share news, and meet family members they may not know. It also publishes Nuotta, an annual magazine featuring family history, events, and other updates.

Members can access researched information about the family and receive help with genealogy, particularly during family gatherings. The association’s activities also include family celebrations, trips, research, stories, and photographs of events. Its symbols are a coat of arms designed by architect Yrjänä Tynkkynen and a logo created by advertising graphic designer Teuvo Tynkkynen. Membership is available through an online application, with annual fees of €20 per person or €30 for family members living in the same household. The association also maintains Facebook and Instagram accounts.
