## Description

Type is a platform for design in the built environment, covering architecture, urban design, planning and landscape. It aims to share knowledge, make research more accessible and foster a culture of critique through publishing and a digital library. Its articles provide space for public opinion and debate, drawing on contributors across design disciplines and exploring topics such as inclusive research, public space, architecture and urban life.

The online library is a digital repository of publications offering research and fresh perspectives on the built environment. It includes books and journals, from historical architecture magazines to contemporary work on housing, urban development and regenerative design. Members can access and download library titles without limit, while non-members can purchase items individually. Membership is available monthly or annually and supports new research and writing. Type also publishes new books, shares updates through a newsletter and offers readers access to articles and publications through its website.
