## Description

Typhoon2000 is a Philippine tropical cyclone information website established by David Michael V. Padua and based in Naga City, Camarines Sur. Describing itself as the Philippines’ first website on tropical cyclones, it brings together storm updates, weather resources, and reference material for people following tropical weather in the West Pacific and beyond. The site reports active cyclones with details such as location, coordinates, pressure, wind estimates, movement, storm size, and current status. It also provides access to tropical weather advisories from agencies including PAGASA, the Joint Typhoon Warning Center, and the Japan Meteorological Agency.

Typhoon2000 offers a broad collection of monitoring resources, including satellite imagery and loops, rain and radar data, storm tracks, cyclone analysis, and weather and wave-impact tools. Visitors can explore archives, weather information, a daily graphical satellite analysis, and links to reports from Philippine and international news outlets. The site also features its creator’s YouTube channel and information about volunteer weather stations, alongside contact details and partner references.
