TyQSL is a brand that offers a range of products and services for ham radio enthusiasts. Founded and developed by Manuel, a German ham radio operator and software developer known as Tysonpower, TyQSL started as a small and simple website in 2018 for Manuel's private use. However, due to the positive response from fellow ham operators, the software evolved and gained more sophisticated features.

One of the main goals of TyQSL is to provide a modern and user-friendly software, as many existing ham radio software options are outdated. The software includes a comprehensive logbook with essential features and a unique QSO Map, setting it apart from other log programs. Throughout the development process, feedback from beta testers, including DL7AG, an experienced ham radio operator, was crucial in shaping TyQSL into its current state.

In mid-2019, the entire project was rewritten to further improve and future-proof the software, along with a redesign to enhance its modern appearance. TyQSL has a roadmap for future enhancements, such as logger optimizations, an external API, and an offline mode. Users can provide feedback and share their ideas by emailing support@tyqsl.
