## Description

United Astronomy Clubs of New Jersey, Inc. (UACNJ) is a non-profit organization established in 1988, serving as a consortium of approximately a dozen amateur astronomy clubs in the New Jersey area. UACNJ aims to promote and facilitate amateur astronomy by coordinating activities and sharing resources among its member clubs. It is not a club itself but acts as a supportive network for astronomy enthusiasts, showcasing displays at significant events, including the North East Astronomy Forum (NEAF) and its own annual Astronomy Day.

UACNJ hosts free public programs every Saturday from April to October at its observatory located in Jenny Jump State Forest, which features permanently mounted telescopes and is situated in one of New Jersey's remaining dark sky areas. The organization also offers engaging online winter programming and an online store for UACNJ merchandise. As an all-volunteer entity, UACNJ welcomes donations to sustain its programs, facilities, and outreach efforts, making astronomy accessible to the entire community.
