Universidade Algarve is strengthening its offering of Technical Higher Professional Courses (CTeSP) with a new course in Video Game Design. The first phase of online applications runs from July 10th to August 11th. The University aims to train professionals with comprehensive skills in video game development, encompassing both technical and artistic aspects.

The course covers game design, analysis, editing, and production, utilizing various technologies. Students will develop competencies to work in both local and remote environments anywhere in the world. Additionally, the program promotes participation in game jams, workshops, and conferences, providing opportunities to expand knowledge and network with industry experts.

The University has partnered with renowned companies such as Altice Labs, Dengun, and Infinity Games. A CTeSP is a two-year study program that awards a professional diploma at level 5 of the National Qualifications Framework. Graduates of this program can further their studies by applying to the University's bachelor's degree programs
