UBC Tax Assistance Clinic (TACS) is a non-profit, student-run initiative that aims to make filing taxes a less daunting task for individuals. Since its establishment in 2002, TACS has been dedicated to educating and assisting students and low-income individuals in filing their Canadian tax returns. With a team of knowledgeable volunteers, TACS operates its tax clinic from late February to the end of March each year, providing valuable assistance to those in need.

Led by a committed team, including President Carman Gao and Treasurer Ryan Lee, TACS is driven by its mission to give back to the community and help individuals navigate through the complexities of the Canadian Tax System. From Information Technology and External Relations to Events and Marketing, TACS covers a wide range of areas with specialized directors and vice presidents to ensure efficient and effective operations.
