## Description

Ulaanbaatar Mountain Bike Club is a volunteer, open community for people who enjoy exploring nature by mountain bike. Founded as a Facebook group in 2016, it moved toward an independent, web-based platform from 2021 and adopted its current club name in 2023. Its main activities include regular day rides, multi-day trips, and annual challenges. Day rides are generally open to adults, free of charge, and do not require permanent membership. Signature events include UB 240/24, a 240-kilometre ride to complete within 24 hours, and the Cyclist’s Seven Passes challenge, both held once a year. The club also provides route information for rides and events, including interactive maps and GPS-compatible routes, alongside news, cycling resources, and activity statistics. Participants can use personal profiles to record ride distances and event results. Riders who reach specified distance milestones may receive physical and digital achievement badges, with a dedicated online page documenting their ride history. The club emphasizes personal responsibility, resilience, equality, and participation for its own sake rather than competition or recognition.
