## Description

University Bookshop is a Christchurch bookseller that has been engaging readers since 1933. Described as the city’s second-oldest bookshop, it offers one of New Zealand’s biggest ranges of books and specialises in hard-to-find titles. Its selection spans fiction, history, science, biography, wellbeing and more, with featured releases and books about New Zealand, including titles on fungi and te reo language and culture.

The shop also supports students with a textbook finder and a range of University of Canterbury textbooks and merchandise. Customers can browse and shop online, explore e-books through Kobo, or access audiobooks through Libro.fm. Alongside its products, University Bookshop shares book news and information about events, with a newsletter for updates on releases and activities.

Located on University Drive in Ilam, Christchurch, the shop offers free parking outside and welcomes visitors during weekday and Saturday opening hours. Readers can also follow the bookshop on social media and Goodreads to keep up with its books, news and community offerings.
