Unione delle Comunità Ebraiche Italiane (UCEI) is the representative body of the Jewish community in Italy. Established in accordance with an agreement with the government, UCEI works to protect the religious interests of Jews in Italy, preserve Jewish traditions and cultural heritage, and coordinate the activities of Jewish communities. It also maintains connections with Jewish communities and organizations in other countries.

One of the notable events organized by UCEI is the European Day of Jewish Culture, which will take place on September 10, 2023, with Florence serving as the main city and the theme being Beauty. More than a hundred locations across Italy will participate in this twenty-fourth edition, offering various initiatives open to the public. The aim is to highlight the beauty of Italian Judaism and promote its historical, architectural, artistic, and cultural heritage.

UCEI also offers a platform called My Jewish Italy, which includes a website and mobile app. This platform provides information about Jewish sites, including museums, synagogues, cemeteries, and memorial sites, making it easier for people to explore and understand over two thousand years of Jewish presence in Italy
